Carlos Asenjo
Carlos Asenjo
CEO
Carlos Asenjo is founding partner and has been General Manager of FyG since 2002. For over two decades, he has co-led the company alongside Máximo Marín, with whom he built the foundations of the current business model.
He began his career in the mortgage sector in 1999, managing thousands of transactions for institutions such as Banesto, UCI and Citibank, experience that led him to lead teams before founding FyG.
He holds a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Master’s in Legal Practice, and practises as a lawyer, being a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

Marta Gómez

Director Operating Officer
Marta Gómez joined FyG in April 2025 as Chief Operating Officer.
She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, having led strategic and operational projects with a significant impact on efficiency and profitability. For 17 years, she held the position of Project Director at a well-known management firm in the sector, where she promoted the implementation of innovative solutions in mortgage processes, asset management, legal remediation and Business Process Outsourcing services for financial institutions.
She holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Cantabria and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Strategic Business Analytics at EAE Business School in Barcelona.

Patricia Cano
Patricia Cano
Director Pre-Litigation
Patricia joined FyG in November 2024 as Director of Pre-Litigation.
She has over 17 years of experience in managing mortgage portfolios, developing key roles at companies such as Haya Real Estate, Aktua and Banesto. At Haya, she led the Pre-litigation unit, supervising multifunctional teams responsible for document preparation, judicial billing and auction management, as well as designing operational strategies and advanced digital tools. At Aktua and Haya Real Estate, she managed large-volume client portfolios, working with institutions such as Banco Santander, Banco Sabadell, BBVA, Cajamar and Sareb. Her career began at Banesto, where she built a solid foundation in analysis and document preparation for legal processes.
She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Antonio de Nebrija University in Madrid.

Project Director
Mónica joined FyG in December 2018 and has been the Project Director since 2019. During this period, she has led portfolio acquisitions and driven new services and strategic projects. She currently plays a key role in coordinating and overseeing several departments, ensuring efficient operations aligned with business objectives.
Before joining FyG, she worked at a renowned management firm in the real estate sector, where she managed the property award process for banks and investment funds. She coordinated operations with notaries, lawyers and court representatives, and led the supervision of SLAs and post-signature incidents, providing a comprehensive perspective to document management.
She holds a Higher Technician qualification in Administration and Finance.

Claudia Marín

Closing Director
Claudia Marín has been the Director of Closing since 2015. She began her career at FyG in July 2009 in the debt recovery and taxes area.
As Closing Director, she coordinates an internal team of over 50 people and 1,500 authorised representatives, leads process improvements and promotes cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives.
Before joining FyG, she trained at Banque PSA Finance, where she deepened her knowledge of finance and customer service.
She holds a degree in Business Studies from San Pablo CEU University (2007), a qualification that has provided her with a solid foundation in finance, accounting, business processes and strategic management.

Carolina Marín
Post-Closing Director
Carolina, daughter of one of the founding partners, has spent most of her professional career at FyG. She has over 15 years of experience in remediation and asset management, taxation and registry registration processes.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, optimise administrative processes and ensure regulatory compliance. Since 2022, she has held the position of Post-Closing Director, overseeing the departments of Notaries, Defects, Cancellations, Registries and Post-Signing under her management.
Before joining FyG, she worked in the service sector, where she gained experience in customer service, adaptability, time management, conflict resolution and commercial skills.
She holds qualifications in Business Studies and Psychology.

Director Taxes
Sergio de Santiago is the Director of Taxes and currently leads a team of over 40 people. He joined FYG in 2018 with the aim of centralising the management of capital gains tax in Closing operations. Since his arrival, he has led the digital implementation in the department, a milestone that significantly improved the efficiency and modernisation of the process. His professional development within the company has been marked by a proactive attitude, a cross-functional business vision and a clear focus on continuous improvement.
He currently leads a team specialising in municipal tax management, providing agile solutions and comprehensive advice to clients. His service quality focus has helped position FyG as a benchmark in capital gains management within the sector.
Before joining FyG, he worked as an Inspector at a National Regulatory Inspection and Control Entity (ENICRE), developing key skills in regulatory compliance. Later, he served as Coordinator at a Facility Services company, leading a team of over 200 people and implementing ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, improving operational and quality standards.
He holds a degree in Business Studies from Rey Juan Carlos University and an official Master’s in Marketing from URJC-Eserp Business School.

Ana Villaseca
Finance Director
Ana joined FyG in April 2024 as Finance Director, taking on the challenge of leading the economic and financial area during a key stage of growth and consolidation. Since then, she has worked to align the financial function with the company’s strategic vision, providing rigorous and value-oriented management. Her main responsibilities include financial planning and analysis, accounting supervision, risk management, relationships with financial institutions, and cost structure optimisation.
She has 18 years of experience in corporate finance, financial auditing, reporting and consolidation. Much of her professional career was developed at EY, where she worked for 11 years in the financial audit division, participating in highly complex projects and working with national and international companies across various sectors.
She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Córdoba.

Director Strategy & Development
Associated with FyG since 2009, Pablo has worked in the Projects and Taxes departments and currently leads the Strategy area. With over 15 years of experience managing companies and business units, he has built his career in sectors such as hospitality, HR consultancy, banking and mortgage management. He has led departments including HR, finance and marketing, performing key roles in setting objectives, coordinating teams and assigning responsibilities. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Rey Juan Carlos University and a master’s degree in the eSports industry.

Joaquín Ortiz
CEO Mediación Legal de Activos (MLA)
Joaquín has been a practising lawyer since 2011. He holds a Law degree from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Public Relations. He is the founder and current CEO of Legal Asset Mediation, a company integrated within the FyG Group, from where he leads the strategy, expansion and innovation of legal and operational services nationwide.
His responsibilities include defining the company’s strategy and overall direction, aligning its objectives with those of the FyG Group. He also drives business development and partnerships with Servicers, funds and institutions, promotes innovation and digitalisation of services, and ensures profitability, efficiency and legal quality across all processes.
He began his professional career at Banco de España, and later founded Ortiz Torralba Abogados, a law firm specialising in civil liability and advisory services for insurance companies. In 2013, he entered the real estate sector, working in the legal department of Bankia and subsequently founding Recuperación Legal, a firm focused on asset recovery and the management of occupancy situations.
A year later, he continued his career at Haya Real Estate and Sareb, consolidating his expertise in the legal management of large real estate portfolios. In 2019, he transitioned to the Servicing sector, collaborating with one of the leading Servicers in the market and leading nationwide possession recovery and out-of-court negotiation strategies.
In 2022, Recuperación Legal expanded its network of services, working with most Servicers in Spain and establishing itself as a key strategic partner in the sector. Finally, in June 2025, the company became part of the FyG Group, adopting the name Legal Asset Mediation.

Extrajudicial Director Mediación Legal de Activos (MLA)
Daniela joined the FyG Group in 2025 as Extrajudicial Director of MLA, with the responsibility of ensuring the efficiency and alignment of internal processes with the company’s global strategy, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional team coordination.
Her professional career began six years ago at a software company, where she held a key position focused on strengthening customer retention. Three years later, she transitioned to the asset recovery sector, applying her previous knowledge and gaining a comprehensive vision of management. This experience enabled her to implement process improvements aimed at achieving more efficient and profitable administration.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Oviedo and a Master’s in Legal Practice.

Judicial Director Mediación Legal de Activos (MLA)
Nuria joined the FyG Group in October 2025 as Legal Director of MLA, with the aim of leading and structuring, from a legal standpoint, a truly innovative and pioneering project in the market, alongside a team of highly qualified professionals. Her role focuses on ensuring the legal efficiency of processes, designing strategies in line with current regulations, and fostering a collaborative and excellence-driven work environment.
Her professional career began in 2016 as a lawyer at a firm specialising in real estate law. She later worked in various servicers and investment funds, leading teams and defining strategies aimed at shortening recovery times for real estate assets and adapting to complex and constantly evolving regulations. This experience has provided her with a comprehensive vision of legal management applied to innovative projects.
She holds a Law degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master’s in Legal Practice from the same university, and a Master’s in Real Estate Law from Il·lustre Col·legi de l’Advocacia de Barcelona (ICAB).
